What We Do Clients rely on Freedonia Custom Research to provide reliable and unbiased market research to support strategic planning, new product development, geographic expansion, M&A, and other strategic growth initiatives. We help our clients achieve these goals by providing detailed market intelligence on topics such as: • Market sizing, segmentation and forecasting • Competitive intelligence/profiling • Value chain analysis • Customer perceptions and purchasing decision-making • Production capacity/supply analysis Research Analysts are an integral part of our team, contributing to client-engagements by performing the following activities: • Conduct secondary research on various industrial markets • Perform primary research, including in-depth interviews with senior professionals and industry experts • Develop quantitative analysis of market size, segmentation and forecasting (i.e., demand modeling) • Research and profile companies, including analysis of company financial data • Develop written reports communicating key findings relevant to client’s business planning • Work with clients in a collaborative manner to deliver high-value results • Present research findings and recommendations to clients Who We Need Freedonia Custom Research is actively seeking Research Analysts to join our team. We need candidates that are curious, methodical, think critically, and who are capable of putting seemingly disparate ideas together. Therefore, we encourage candidates from a wide variety of educational and work experience(s) to apply. Desired Skills/Qualifications • 0-5 years work experience • Ability to research, analyze, and write well • Exceptional attention to detail • Excellent organizational and time management skills • Aptitude with quantitative analysis and spreadsheets • Comfort working in a team-based environment • Strong work ethic, self-motivation, and the ability to work independently • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint • Bachelor’s degree in a preferred discipline, such as Economics, Business Management, or technical degree (eg, Engineering); all degrees will be considered • Consulting experience, experience in industrial markets, Master’s degree or MBA preferred but not required What We Provide As a Research Analyst you’ll have the opportunity to work with industry-leading companies across a variety of industries, gaining exposure to a range of interesting topics on a daily basis.
